A few months later we made him one of our LIFT artists, and the Classic Man brought fans some dazzling performances - that's pretty much what he always does. His "Long Live The Chief" track reminded his audience just how culturally proud and politically savvy he was, and the album it rode in on was pretty irresistible. Now Jidenna's headed to the motherland with '85 To Africa,' and he does a great job at focusing the riches of the diaspora through the filter of hip-hop, especially when the Nigerian native cuts across the Caribbean and harks to afrobeats with a Mr. Eazi feature.
